At twenty-one, Teaspoon espresso bar owner Jared Lawler is enjoying the highs and lows of being a small business owner. "Teaspoon has been some of the most challenging time of my life, but I guess Teaspoon has just grown and stretched me. When it seems like you're in the darkest deepest pit and you manage to find your way out of it all, that is the most rewarding of being a small business owner. You find a creative side of yourself in solving problems that you didn't know existed."

Teaspoon is firstly and foremost about serving the most beautiful espresso, secondly Teaspoon sees the importance of being accountable to the global village and only serves quality fair-trade coffee supplied by leading boutique coffee house Toby's Estate.
